Skateboarder killed after colliding with State Police cruiser

TANNERSVILLE - A Tannersville man was killed when he struck the side of a State Police car while riding his skateboard.

50-year-old Bernard Hamilton was riding his skateboard down Hill Road at 11:35 p.m. Thursday night when Police say he entered the intersection of State Route 23A and stuck a State Police cruiser that had entered the intersection.

Hamiltion was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating.
