Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Police: Robbery charges for South Glens Falls man

QUEENSBURY - A South Glens Falls man was arrested on burglary and criminal mischief charges after police say he broke into a business he once worked for.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office arrested John Harris, 54, of 19 Chestnut Street after police say he broke into Hoffman's Car Wash and Jiffy Lube back on April 20, 2013.  Police say they connected him to the crime through DNA found at the scene.

Police say, while inside, he damaged several thousand dollars worth of property and equipment. 

At the time of his arrest, Harris was in the Rensselaer County Jail on unrelated charges. 

He was arraigned in Queensbury Town Court and sent back to the Rensselaer County Jail.
