Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

TRAFFIC ALERT: UAlbany reopens roads around campus due to flooding

UPDATE: The UAlbany campus has reopened the closed roads, but advise travelers to be safe traveling near pooled water around the campus.

ALBANY - The UAlbany campus has closed roads surrounding the campus due to flooding.
  • University Drive West
  • South of Tricentennial Drive
  • University Drive East, south of baseball field
  • Western Avenue Entrance
  • All southern exits from Dutch Parking Lot.
In their twitter feed, they say that closed roads will re-open as weather and water starts to recede.
