Snowstorm Well Underway - Periods of Heavy Snow and Difficult Travel into Tonight

Snowfall rates of 1" to at times 2" per hour are likely this afternoon and this evening across most of the area as low pressure passes to the region's south.  This will cause rapid accumulations and low visibility producing hazardous travel conditions.  The storm will begin winding down after 10-11pm with accumulating snow ending from west to east between 1am and 4am Thursday. Sex assault reported at Siena

LOUDONVILLE -- A confidential investigation has been launched at Siena College following the report of a sexual assault.

A campus wide email was sent out by the Public Safety Office alerting students and staff of the incident but details of when and where it took place have not been released by the college.

Anyone with information about the sexual assault is being asked to contact the Department of Public Safety.

In a statement from a college spokesperson, Siena officials are conducting a confidential investigation and stresses that its priority is the safety and well-being of all its students. They also offered a link on sexual violence prevention with additional information.
