Man pleads not guilty in mother's death
FULTON COUNTY -- An Ephratah man pleaded not guilty, Thursday, in the death of his mother.
James Dibble, 29, is accused of killing his mother, Gwenda Lisman, back in July. Dibble was recently indicted by a grand jury on five charges including murder.
According to Fulton County District Attorney, Louise Sira, Dibble is accused of stealing family jewelry back in late June. A report was filed with police and a few days later Lisman was killed, Sira said.
After being considered a suspect Dibble was picked up by state police while he was fishing, Sira added.
As she was leaving the courtroom Thursday Lisman's sister, Denise Barrett, said she is "looking for justice for her sister".
Dibble faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted of murder. A tentative trial date of April 2014 has been set.
