Occasional Snow To Continue Into the Evening, Slow and Slick Travel Persisting

Patchy areas of light snow wil persist through the evening with brief localized bursts of moderate snow possible through 8pm.  Additional snow accumulations will be spotty and light, generally 1" or less through the evening.  The cold air in place will continue to support slow and slippery travel conditions with less traveled roads, parking lots, and sidewalks remaining snow covered through the night.

Teen sentenced in stabbing death

ALBANY -- A teen who admitted he stabbed another teen in the neck while trying to steal his bike will spend 18 years behind bars.

Juan Anderson, 19, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the May 2012 stabbing of a 15-year-old boy. The boy was paralyzed from the neck down, and later died from his injuries.

Andersons sentence will be followed by an additional 5 years post-release supervision.
