Police search for clues in early morning theft

LEE -- Police are asking for the public's help tracking down three men they say broke into a Lee store.

According to authorities, the men broke into the Michael Korrs store at Premium Outlets in Lee between 4:30 and 6 a.m. on Saturday. They say store security cameras show the men coming through the front of the store and taking bags, purses, wallets and watches, all worth an estimated $500,000.

Investigators believe the trio disabled the store's alarm system before breaking in and loading the stolen merchandise into garbage bags and backpacks. The store's surveillance video shows the men wearing gloves and ski masks at the time of the break-in.

Officials say similar incidents involving three masked men have recently happened at outlet stores in nearby states. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at (413) 243-5530.
