Police arrest two after underage drinking initiative

QUEENSBURY - State Police have made two arrests in a sweep to prevent the sale of alcohol to minors

Police say over the weekend they visited 31 businesses, including convenience, grocery and liquor stores in Washington and Warren Counties.

In that sweep police made two arrests after investigators say underage operatives were used in an initiative to prevent the sale of alcohol to minors.

Arrested were Michael Zalenski of Glens Falls, from Minogues Beverage, 266 Quaker Rd, Queensbury and Armond Rawlins II of Saratoga Springs, from Hess Mart, 756 Quaker Rd, Queensbury.

Both are charged with unlawfully dealing with a child.
