Police: Man arrested on forcible touching charges

NORTH GREENBUSH: Police have arrested a West Sand Lake man they say forcibly touched a woman who was out jogging on Tuesday.

The incident occurred near Hoffman Car Wash on Route 150. Police say 36-year-old Bruce Bargy, JR. of 9 Patricia Lane ran up to the woman, touched her and then took off. A man vacuuming his car heard the woman scream and ran over to help.

Police say Bargy was arrested after a truck driver who witnessed the incident recognized him in the area on Wednesday and called police.

The FBI Violent Crime Against Children task force became involved after discovering additional information in the investigation and a search warrant was issued for Bargy's residence.

Property was seized at the residence.
