Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

South Glens Falls teacher accused of hitting student

SOUTH GLENS FALLS -- A high school teacher charged with harassing a student in class pleaded not guilty at an arraignment today.

Michael Yeager, 43, is accused of hitting a student on the back of his head with his hand and a ruler on three separate occasions. The students parents pressed charges against Yeager, who is on paid leave.

The case against Yeager was adjourned until January 9.
