Former fire company president admits to buying porn, electronics with company funds

COLUMBIA COUNTY -- The former president of a fire company in Hudson has entered a guilty plea on charges of grand larceny.

Joseph Morrison, Jr., former President of the CH Evans Hook and Ladder Fire Company, admitted he misused the companys debit card and racked up $34,000 in personal purchases.

State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli says that between October 2009 and December 2012, Morrison used company money to buy things like electronics, jewelry and pornography. Morrison is due back in court in March for sentencing.
