Santa visits needy kids

TROY -- Santa took some time out of his busy schedule to make a special stop on Friday.

St. Nick joined volunteers from the Cap-Com Cares Foundation to bring some holiday spirit to nearly 200 disadvantaged children. They distributed gifts at the Head Start and Early Start program.

The foundation has partnered with the Commission on Economic Opportunity's Head Start program for several years. Organizers say that this event seems to bring out the Christmas spirit in everyone involved.
