Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Cops and credit union team up for toy drive

ALBANY -- CapCom Federal Credit Union and the Police Athletic League rounded up hundreds of donated toys on Thursday.

The toys will be delivered to children in need, so they have something to brighten up their holiday. The toys were collected from 25 locations across the capital region.

Albany PAL provides more than 2,500 toys to needy kids every holiday season.
