Troopers say the pickup was traveling on a road in Columbia County around 2:30 a.m. Friday when it crashed in the town of Greenport, 30 miles south of Albany. Police say the vehicle is believed to have rolled over several times before becoming engulfed in flames.

Troopers say 40-year-old Scott fenoff of Livingston was ejected from the vehicle and died. They say 20-year-old Nicholas Howard of Livingston was injured and is being treated at Albany Medical Center Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
