Crook leaves debit card behind

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- Police in Iowa charge a crook who left something behind -- his debit card.

Officers investigating the rip-off of an Iowa City home found the bank card and a distinctive shoe print. A local paper (Iowa City Press-Citizen) reports the door of the home had been kicked in and a safe was taken from the bedroom. Investigators say they found a debit card belonging to 20-year-old Carloss D. Sanders in the house.

Police say when they went to Sanders' home they also found a shoe with a matching logo on the sole. Sanders now faces third-degree burglary and other charges.
