Police: Toys not stolen from Glenville store

UPDATE: This story corrects a previous version of the story that said a woman had stolen donated gifts from a local Walmart.

GLENVILLE -- Police say a woman in Glenville did not steal Christmas gifts from needy children on Tuesday night.

Glenville authorities were searching for a woman after employees thought they saw her take a box of Toys for Tots donations. However, after speaking to the woman, they determined that she was picking up a separate box, and did not steal anything.
