Former Schoharie ARC employee accused of bilking money from residents

ALBANY-- A former employee of Schoharie ARC is accused of ripping off disabled residents.
The NYS Attorney General's Office says 31-year-old Samantha Cross was arraigned on Grand Larceny and Falsifying Business Records charges.
Investigators say between November 2011 and November 2012, Cross used her authority as Assistant Manager to buy cellphones, pre-paid calling cards, I-Tunes gift cards and groceries using residents' personal money.
The AG's office says she stole around $1,000.
Cross faces up to 4 years in prison if convicted.
