Man drives drunk to turn himself in

BRUNSWICK -- A Pattersonville man was arrested after police say he was drunk when he drove himself to State Police barracks to turn himself in.

Dominick Lombardi, 42, was voluntarily turning himself in to State Police in Brunswick on charges of violating an order of protection. Authorities say when he arrived, after a drive which took 45 minutes to an hour, he failed sobriety tests with a .23% blood alcohol content.

He was charged with criminal contempt and aggravated DWI.
