Meeting set between community leaders, retailers
NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City community leaders and department stores representatives are scheduled to meet to discuss new procedures at retail establishments.
The working meeting on Monday is the second between the parties.
The Rev. Al Sharpton is among those participating. They are set to talk about new policies and procedures inside the stores.
The two groups first met in late November after several black shoppers alleged they were racially profiled at Macy's and Barneys New York.
The stores denied they had policies that targeted black customers.
