Cold temperature safety

With the cold weather here it is important to bundle up to prevent health issues in cold weather.

A local doctor from Albany Medical Center, Dr. Michael Dailey, says that frostbite can set in quickly if you are not wearing the appropriate clothing.

Dr. Dailey also warns to not over exert yourself when shoveling snow.  Emergency visits are more common from patients who go into cardiac arrest after shoveling snow.

He also recommends avoiding alcohol and caffeine.
