Gloversville student arrested for Twitter threat

GLOVERSVILLE A Gloversville student is facing charges after police say he posted a threatening tweet.

Brandon Fernandez, 16, was arrested after officials say he tweeted that he was going to shoot up the school. The school district says Fernandez was reacting to a Music Monday song that was being played between classes on the loud speaker. The district says it understands students may say things they dont mean, but they have to take all potential threats seriously.

Officers will be at the school this week to explain the consequences of making such threats to students.
