Former jail employee sues after losing job
TROY - The former head of the jail in Rensselaer County is firing back at the Sheriff who fired her.
Ruth Vibert says when she didn't retaliate against one of her employees at the direction of Sheriff Jack Mahar, she lost her $85,500 job as the Chief of Corrections and Jail Administrator. Now, she's suing to get it back.
