Vice President Joe Biden Pays a Visit to Albany

ALBANY -- Vice President Joe Biden will visit Albany Tuesday for an event with Governor Cuomo.

The two will discuss infrastructure investment plans following Superstorm Sandy, which hit New York and parts of New Jersey back in October, 2012.

Many areas and businesses in the region are still trying to recover after Sandy.

In the last year, billions of dollars have gone towards federal disaster aid and relief packages.

Albany is no stranger to White House visitors. This is the second visit for the Vice President since 2009. President Obama has also made three recent appearances.

The Vice President's visit comes a day before Governor Cuomo's fourth state of the state address where he will discuss his plans for the state in 2014.

Tuesday's event will take place in the Red Room of the Capitol at 11:30 a.m.
