Man charged with larceny and identity theft

CLIFTON PARK - State Police have arrested a man, after being identified after an alleged purse snatching in in Clifton Park.

Police arrested and charged 47-year-old Donald Cooper with grand larceny and identity theft.

Police say Cooper stole a purse from a Kmart in Clifton Park and allegedly used credit cards to make purchases in a Price Chopper on 2nd avenue in Troy.

Cooper was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in court in February.

State Police say Cooper was identified after his image was featured on the CBS6 Perp Patrol.
