Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Driver crashes truck after driving on frozen Lake George

LAKE GEORGE - The Warren County Sheriff's Department say that a South Glens Falls man crashed his truck after driving on the ice on Lake George. 

According to police 25-year-old Derek Williams rolled over his car after allegedly attempting to spin doughnuts on the ice.  Police say the truck overturned about 2-4 times before coming to a rest on its roof.

Police say Williams and his passenger suffered minor injuries.
