State Police arrest two brothers impersonating each other

COHOES - State Police have arrested two Gansevoort brothers with a history of traffic violations, after being pulled over in the City of Cohoes.

Investigators say when stopped, neither 24-year-old Nauman Hussain, or 25 year-old Shahyer Hussain had identification on them.  Police say both were claiming to be each other.

Nauman, the passenger, had an extensive history of convictions and suspensions, however his license was valid.

His brother, had a revoked New York State drivers license with 28 suspensions, 24 of them occurring on 12 different dates.

State Police arrested the pair, charging them with conspiracy and impersonation charges.  Shahyer was also charged with unlicensed operation.
After a more extensive investigation, police found the Hussain brothers have been ticketed over 70 times, and that Shahyer had used his brothers identity before.
