Moderate to Heavy Snow @ Times to Continue Through the Evening

Narrow bands of moderate to heavy snow continue to evolve across the region in response to the storm developing to our south.  Expect periods of 1" to occasionally 2" per hour snowfall rates through 8-10pm with snowfall becoming lighter and more intermittent through the pre-dawn hours on Thursday. Poor to difficult travel conditions in low visibility and snow packed roads will persist well into the night.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Sheriff's Deputy taken to hospital after car crash

SARATOGA COUNTY -- A Saratoga County Sheriff's Deputy was taken to the hospital on Monday after a car crash on Sitterly Road.

According to authorities, Deputy John brown, 42, was driving a marked patrol car when he ran into the back of another car waiting to make a left turn onto Squire Lane. Deputy Brown was taken to Saratoga Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, Michael Cormier, had minor injuries, but was not taken to the hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
