Albany Symphony hosts Grammy celebration

ALBANY -- How do you celebrate winning a Grammy? If you're David Alan Miller of the Albany Symphony Orchestra, you throw yourself a party.

The maestro of the ASP announced on Friday that violinist Joshua Bell will headline the 85th season with a performance and a gala party on opening night, September 6th. Bell has an Oscar for his score for the movie 'The Red Violin."

The Symphony's season will feature music by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Brahms and a host of modern American composers.
