Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Fire crews pumping basement find CO leak

NEW SCOTLAND - Fire Crews answering call to pump out a basement wound up sending three to the hospital.

As water was pumped the water from the basement crews discovered a carbon monoxide leak.

The 7 people in the home were evacuated.  During the evacuation, emergency crews found one child who was home sick with an unrelated illness. 3 were sent to the hospital for precautionary measures.
