Protestors rally against budget proposal

ALBANY -- A group of parents, workers, small business owners and community leaders came together at the capitol on Monday to protest the proposed budget.

The group says this year's state budget proposal favors the wealthy at the expense of New York State tax payers. They also say it fails to address the Dream Act and other human rights and environmental issues.

The protestors are also demanding adoption of a comprehensive public campaign funding system for all races in the state.
