Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Brunswick police charge man with DWI after crash

PITTSTOWN - State Police in Brunswick say they arrested a Hoosick Falls man on Saturday after a crash in Pittstown.

Police say troopers responded to a car accident on Tamarac Road and when they arrived they saw that a truck driven by 22 year-old Tyler Shaw had crashed into a tree.

After locating Shaw, police say he admitted to consuming alcohol before the crash and failed a field sobriety test.  According to police he was found to have a blood alcohol content of .19%. 

Shaw was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
