ALBANY -- The New York State Public High School Athletic Association and Special Olympics New York announced that they have teamed up to establish the Unified Sports Program.

The program launched just a week ago and is one of only a few in the entire country. It establishes a pilot unified basketball program in Section 2 where 12 schools will participate in practices and games over the course of 8 weeks.
