Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Albany Mayor declares Earth Week in Albany

ALBANY -- With Earth Day and Arbor Day set for this week, Mayor Kathy Sheehan declared this Earth Week in Albany.

The Mayor outlined several green initiatives in the city including turning an old basketball court and lot on North Swan Street into a Park. She also went over several other plans to make the city more friendly to bicyclists and walkers.
