Gloversville man was beaten, shot in home invasion

GLOVERSVILLE - Police are looking for three men in connection to a home invasion.

Gloverville police say resident at 77 Fremont Street answered the door at around 10:15 Tuesday, when he was met with a man who pistol whipped him.  Two others entered his apartment and allegedly bound the man, beat him with fists, kicked, and struck him with a hammer. 

He was also grazed by a bullet when a pillow was placed over the victims face, and a round fired into it.

Police said the men were looking for drugs and money that they believed was in the apartment.

A second man was also in the apartment who was also allegedly beaten with the hammer, that man has not been located.
