Derby bettors look for silks colors, lucky numbers

For others, it's far less complicated and is based on factors like a favorite color or lucky number.
Shelby Kappus of Indianapolis says she looks for pink silks and horses with the number eight.
Her system paid off in the first race on Derby Day at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.
The betting is brisk leading up to the 140th running of the Derby on Saturday.
