Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

One injured in Queensbury motorcycle accident

QUEENSBURY -- One man was taken flown to Albany Medical Center when his motorcycle hit an SUV on Wednesday afternoon.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office said that 25-year-old Cody Towers of Hudson was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries to his pelvis and lower extremities.  The Sheriff's Office said that Towers was riding his motorcycle northbound on Queensbury Avenue when a Chevrolet Suburban operated by Douglas Webster entered the highway making a left turn from Park Road.  It was reported that Towers and the motorcycle skidded after overturning and hit Webster's vehicle.
The accident is still under investigation, but no tickets have been issued.
Webster was not injured.
