State Police credit social media to return runaway cows

GRAFTON - State Police in Brunswick credit social media with the return of runaway cows.

Police responded to 5 runaway cows on State Route 2 in the Town of Grafton. The cows were corralled into a neighbor's yard while they attempted to locate the owner.

A Rensselaer County Dispatcher noticed a Facebook post from the family of Aaron Hogue asking if anyone had seen their runaway cattle.

Hogue was contacted and returned his cattle back safe to their home on the range.
