Snowstorm Well Underway - Periods of Heavy Snow and Difficult Travel into Tonight

Snowfall rates of 1" to at times 2" per hour are likely this afternoon and this evening across most of the area as low pressure passes to the region's south.  This will cause rapid accumulations and low visibility producing hazardous travel conditions.  The storm will begin winding down after 10-11pm with accumulating snow ending from west to east between 1am and 4am Thursday. 'Medical Emergency' contributing factor in Lake George Accident

LAKE GEORGE - The Warren County Sheriff's office say a medical emergency was a contributing factor in sending a Lake George woman to the hospital.

Police say 64 year old Faithanne Buck of Warrensburg struck a utility pole, then careened into the Lake George visitors center.  She was taken to Glens Falls Hospital for evaluation.

She was not ticketed in the accident.
