3 kids hurt when wind blows bounce house into air

SOUTH GLENS FALLS - Three children were injured when a strong gust of wind blew an inflatable bounce house into the air.

South Glens Falls Police say Monday afternoon at around 3:20 a sudden gust of wind lifted the inflatable toy 15 - 20 feet into the air.  Two boys playing inside fell out.

A 6 year-old boy was found in the street, and the a 5 year-old was located in an apartment building parking lot.  A 10 year-old girl was also injured, but did not go airborne.  Both boys suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to Albany Medical Center.

Police say there were several adults monitoring the play area, and the bounce house was staked into the ground.

An investigation is continuing, however police say this is a tragic accident and no charges have been filed.
