SPAC hosts annual Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival

SARATOGA SPRINGS - The Saratoga Performing Arts Center is jazzing up for one of its biggest weekends all year.

The Freihofers' Saratoga Jazz Festival is this June 28 and 29th,  with headline acts Earth, Wind & Fire, Trombone Shorty, Terence Blanchard, as well as Dave Holland Prism, Patti Austin, Jon Batiste & Stay Human, Eddie Palmieri Salsa Orchestra, and others.

The two day celebration will take place on two stages and is touted as the largest and most celebrated jazz events in the world.

Other events included are an arts and craft fair, cd signings, as well as southern style food from the Hall of Springs.

Officials say guests are welcome to bring in food, beverages and tents, and take advantage of the free parking.

Tickets for the festival start at $60, Kids 12 and under are free on the lawn.  Information is available at
