Free dental care offered for Saratoga Co. residents

BALLSTON SPA -- Saratoga County residents in need of dental care will have something to smile about next week.

Dr. Thomas Pray will offer free basic dental care services to the first 100 uninsured Saratoga County residents who show up to his practice on Friday, June 20 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. "The people we're reaching out to are those who too often fall between the cracks because they are neither affluent enough to be covered by high end insurance nor financially disadvantaged enough to qualify for Medicaid," says Dr. Pray.

This is the second year the practice will host this type of event. Last year, the team of volunteers donated $30,000 in free consultations and x-rays, allowing with either a free cleaning, filling or extraction. One patient even received a free root canal.

The free services will be offered at 128 Milton Avenue in Ballston Spa. For more information, call 885-8321 or visit
