Police: Cohoes man arrested on drug, firearm charges.

ALBANY - A Cohoes man is facing weapon and drug charges.

The Albany County Sheriff's Office say 29 year-old Nicholas Straker of Olmstead Street was arrested on Monday after a four month investigation.

Investigators were tipped off that Straker and his roommate, 23 year-old Christopher Grant were allegedly selling drugs from their Cohoes apartment.  The investigation also revealed the pair was allegedly in possession of illegal handguns.

Straker was arraigned in the City of Cohoes Court and sent to the Albany County Jail $20,000 bail.  He has been charged with felony drug possession, felony firearm possession, as well as possession of stolen property.

Police say Christopher Grant is still being sought on charges.  The Albany County Sheriff's Office is seeking help from the public in locating him.
