Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Construction worker rescued from under Patroon Island Bridge

ALBANY - A construction worker had to be rescued from the Patroon Island bridge Thursday while working on the underside of the bridge.

Emergency crews from Troy, Rensselear, and Albany responded around 1:30 p.m. to assist after the worker suffered a back injury and became tangled in his safety harness six stories in the air.

The construction worker was transported to Albany Medical Center to be treated for injuries.
