Man injured in failed robbery after being shoved from second story window

ALBANY - A man was taken to the hospital after being shoved from a second story window in a robbery attempt.

Albany Police say a 32 year-old Queensbury man allegedly met a woman through an online advertising service called "Backpage", and was invited to an apartment on State Street.  Once there, police say that man discovered that the female he was attempting to meet was actually three men who then blocked his exit and allegedly attempted to steal money.

The victim then attempted to escape from a second story window; two of the suspected allegedly shoved him, causing him to fall 21 feet to the ground.

That man is being treated at Albany Medical Center for several injuries to his legs and ankles.

Albany Police arrested Torrence Wilson, 22, of St. Louis, MO, Shawndale Alexander, 23, of Charlotte, NC, and Dajuanta Alexander, 24, of Albany and charged all three with attempted robbery and unlawful imprisonment.
