Resident of 'crack house' arrested on drug charges

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (AP and CBS6) -- A woman has been charged with selling drugs three months after her father painted the words "crack house" on the upstate New York home where she lived.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Alisa Smith of Queensbury has been charged with selling crack cocaine and heroin between January and April.

At the time, Smith and her father were involved in a dispute over her living at the Queensbury rental home he owns. Frustrated over failed efforts to evict his daughter and another tenant he believed were involved in drugs, the father spray-painted the words crack house, heroin and meth on the house in February.

He later removed the graffiti.

Smith is in the county jail. It couldn't be determined if she has a lawyer.
