Weird Al tops charts with number one album

(NEWSOURCE) He may be weird but he's got his first number-one album because of it.

"Weird Al" Yankovic's "Mandatory Fun" tops the billboard charts this week, selling 104,000.

The comedian-singer tweeted out: "wow-wow... If you told me 30-years ago this would happen, I never would've believed it. If you'd told me 2 weeks ago, I never would've believed it."

"Mandatory Fun" spoofs many of the current chart-topping pop hits from artists like Lorde, Pharrell williams and Iggy Azalea.

It is the first comedy album to top the billboard 200 since 1963.
