Moderate to Heavy Snow @ Times to Continue Through the Evening

Narrow bands of moderate to heavy snow continue to evolve across the region in response to the storm developing to our south.  Expect periods of 1" to occasionally 2" per hour snowfall rates through 8-10pm with snowfall becoming lighter and more intermittent through the pre-dawn hours on Thursday. Poor to difficult travel conditions in low visibility and snow packed roads will persist well into the night.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Cardboard Boat races

ARKANSAS (NEWSOURCE) Setting sail in a cardboard boat sounds like a bad idea, but it could gain you bragging rights.

The 28th annual world championship cardboard boat races were held Saturday in Arkansas.
The theme was "wild and wacky and downright crazy."

The participants delivered, taking to the water in carefully constructed boats, everything from sharks to floating cabins and monster trucks.

Awards were given out for the most creative team and boat, the boat that floated best -- and also the most dramatic sinking.
