Outstanding postal workers recognized

It was a letter perfect day for some men and woman who can now claim to be among the best at what they do.

Postal workers were recognized on Wednesday for their hard work. Five Schenectady mail carriers received the Million Miles award for safe driving. According to the National Safety Council, it is the nation's highest award given for professional safe driving.

The postmaster says all five recipients have more than 30 years of safe driving experience. None have been involved in an on-the-job accident.
