Snow and Gusty Wind on Tuesday - Poor Travel Conditions Expected

A Nor'easter  is expected to impact the region today, but the impact around the Capital Region looks to be on the lighter side, as the storm takes a more Easterly track. Snow will become steadier from SE to NW this morning, with snowfall of varying intensity through this afternoon and evening.  A gusty NNW wind from 15-20 mph at times will cause blowing and drifting of the very dry snow creating poor visibility and hazardous travel conditions at times through late tonight. General Storm accumulations in the Capital Region of 2-6" are expected, with higher amounts across western New England.

Local ice cream parlor ranked among nation's top 10

QUEENSBURY -- A local ice cream parlor has a lot to brag about.

Martha's Dandee Creme in Queensbury was included on a top 10 list of the nation's ice cream parlors put out by travel website, The site says "this roadside retreat publishes a monthly flavor calendar to help fervent fans plan their visit."

One review on the site says, "I've been a customer for so many years now, and Martha's never disappoints."
