Saratoga 2014: Opening Day

SARATOGA - The early bird racing fans rushed the turnstile at 11 this morning, carrying coolers and lawn chairs in search of their favorite spots on the track.

They call it the sport of kings, but, as usual, there were fans of all types.

When the horses finally broke from the gate for the first race, there was this whoosh of energy as the racing fans settled in for six weeks of bets.

Saratoga is a great place to see and be seen and some very familiar faces were happy to be back.
